We will be performing a core router software upgrade at our Los Angeles data centre. This maintenance will take place on March 25th between 11:00 UTC and 15:00 UTC.
The redundancy in place for our streaming services provides non impacting experience for most listeners. During a maintenance window, selected live streaming instances (MG) will stop accepting new listeners and route all new listener traffic to alternate streaming instances. During this period, active sessions are kept alive for a minimum of 12 hours. Long-duration listener sessions (>12h) might get disconnected. In such cases, the system will failover on another available Media Gateway automatically.
